A lot of fun with Experimental Printmaking at CSM

Added on by Miguel Sopena.

Last week was a lot of fun at the Experimental Printmaking course run by Sean Myers at Central St Martins. Sean and Sophie were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, giving input when needed but also letting people work at their own pace and following their own inspiration. The course runs through the year with different timetables and setups and some people there had taken the course already and were back for more. Given that we only had five days we concentrated on collage, monoprinting, drypoint and collagraph. At the end of the week I was exhausted but feeling I had learnt an awful lot and produced some prints that definitely point the way forward. Would recommend the course to anyone and CSM's printmaking workshop in Elthorne Rd is fantastically equipped and a joy to work in.
